Apple, standard 'Lodi'
Malus domestica 'Lodi', Hardiness : Zone 3b
Category
Fruit tree
Description
Vigorous and very early apple tree producing large pale-green to yellowish-white apples. The fruit is tender, juicy and tart, with an aromatic flavour. 'Lodi' is particularly well suited to applesauce, pies and cooking. It can also be used for juice and cider, but its very short storage life limits its value as a storage apple.
