Description
Very hardy, vigorous and upright fruiting shrub producing medium to large dark blue haskap berries. Boreal Beast is particularly notable for its excellent flavour, remarkable aroma and pleasant aftertaste. The berries are firm and oval-shaped and hold well on the bush. The cultivar was developed by the University of Saskatchewan Fruit Program.

Dark blue berries with a light waxy bloom. Berries average approximately 1.9–2.0 g, are firm and mostly oval-shaped. They have an excellent sweet-tart flavour with a distinctive aroma and pleasant aftertaste. Suitable for fresh eating, freezing and processing.
